It was made at a media conference held by Indosat on Friday (09/05/2014) in Yogyakarta.According to Nasser, various cellular company in various countries have acquired Ooredoo and to branding her with Ooredoo name. The plan was initiated by Qatar Telecom since 2013 ago.

to him, renaming various mobile operators in some countries under the
brand Ooredoo is that the company could be recognized in all countries. Additionally, branding with a name also called Nasser could help save the company in terms of marketing and promotion.
"A lot of the reason why we changed the name of the brand Ooredoo, one
of which is able to save expenses for marketing and promotional
activities," he said.
Ooredoo itself would lay bandring operator Indosat will begin in 2015."For Indosat, is currently in talks, time is not yet determined, but

explained.

change depending on the readiness of Indosat and the dynamics of the
telecommunications market in Indonesia.
